YOGA STUDIO T&C

By booking into a class/workshop/event at Dóttir Hot Yoga, you automatically agree to the following studio terms & conditions.

    • Our studios are open 30 min before and after classes.

    • Make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes before the class begins and check in at the reception. During the classes the studio door is locked for security reasons. You won't be let in once the door is locked. Please be on time as remaining spots can be given to people on the waiting list.

    • Only enter the studio through the front door. We will never open the glass door into the studio room so please do not knock as it is very disruptive to the class.

    • Make sure to notify that you have arrived for class at the reception to get checked in and avoid the no-show fee.

    • Remove your shoes when entering the studio.

    • You can bring your own mat or rent yoga mats and towels at the studio. (35 kr/50 kr) We accept MobilePay and cash.

    • We provide tea and water free of charge in our lounge area. Glasses/cups are not allowed in the yoga Shala or dressing room and we ask you to place used glasses/cups on the tray in the lounge area.

    • Before entering in the yoga shala please leave all belongings in the dressing room besides your yoga mat and a water bottle if needed.

    • We do not allow talking in the yoga shala. Please respect that and be mindful of others.

    • Most of our classes are 65 min. Please remain in the room during the class even if the practise is challenging. We recommend taking a seated posture, Childs Pose or lay down anytime in your practise. If for some reason you need to leave the room during the class, you are not allowed to enter back into the room again.

    • After the class place all borrowed towels in our laundry baskets. If you have rented equipment for your practise (ex yoga mat) we ask you to wipe them after your use with cloths and spray that are provided in our studios. Please roll up the mat and hand it back to our teachers.

    • You have access to our shower facilities, hairdryers, organic body products and you can rent a shower towel for your use. Our shower facilities and lounge are open 30 min in between classes and after classes. We ask you to respect our teacher's time so they can start next class according to schedule or close the studio.

    • We ask you to be mindful of our space and use trash bins.

    • Everyone is welcome to take a swim after class. Please be mindful and dry off before entering back in the studio. We have towels available to rent at the reception.

    • same with rain - if your rain gear is soaking wet please ask the staff where to place it to dry, instead of bringing it in the lounge and dressing room.

    • Classes are subject to change or cancel without notice due to Covid-19 issues, sickness and unforeseen teacher situations.

    • Dóttir HotYoga may refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind, for classes that are changed or cancelled by us for any reason.

    • Teachers are subject to change at short notice.

    • You agree that you are to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all yoga exercises and other related physical activity in the studio's offerings.

    • Please follow all instructions given to you by Dóttir yoga teachers. Failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.

    • Classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury or death.

    • Dóttir Yoga is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our studio & taking part in all activities.

    • We reserve the right to refuse in-studio: Anti-social behaviour, abusive behaviour to staff.

    • Dóttir HotYoga & the studio teachers have the right to refuse entry into a class/studio at any time for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to: misconduct, intoxication, medical grounds or failure to comply with the studio's conditions.

    • Dóttir Hot Yoga reserves the right to make changes/updates to terms, fees, products, and memberships. Dóttir reserves the right, once til twice a year, to make a price adjustment in the monthly membership fee, corresponding to the trend in the consumer price index without giving further notice on it. We will inform you of these adjustments as soon as possible for your convenience.

    • Other price increases will be notified at your specified email address with a notice of 60 days.

    • Our studio has the right to make changes to the program's offerings as needed, ex. opening hours, schedules, fees, offers and prices. The form changes and the like will be communicated in the studio and on our website in the best possible time.

  • We do our best to make sure that all of the content on our site is correct. However, unintentional errors may occur for which we are not liable.

    • Class payment must be made upon booking.

    • We do not offer refunds when a purchase is final of any kind.

    • We have the right to store your billing information in our system for charges.

    • We accept MobilePay for services and products, but all membership needs to be through a payment card.

    • For Autopay memberships, we automatically withdraw the membership fee from your account.

    • We do not charge card-fees.

    • The receipt for purchases online & in studio will be sent to the entered e-mail address. The customer is responsible for whether the information entered is correct.

    • Our class cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to take place in a class and the mats are filled. Nobody likes to miss out on a class, so please take note of the following:

    • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class. Check in at reception before each class or you will be subject to a fine of DKK 50 as a 'no-show'. Late entry equals no-show. For security reasons the door to the studio is locked 5 minute before the beginning of each class. If you arrive later than when class starts, you will unfortunately not be let inside.

    • Cancellations can be made via Dóttir HotYoga app or website.

    • Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, email or social media.

    • Class cancellations can be made up to 4 hours before the class start time.

    • Customers on a monthly membership, prepaid membership or trial passes who fail to attend a class will be charged a DKK 50 no show fee.

    • Customers using a Drop-in, Clip Card who book into a class but fail to attend will lose their class/clip.

    • ​Class payment must be made upon booking.

    • We recommend that you book classes in advance to avoid disappointment.

    • You can book classes up to 21 days ahead.

    • If there is a waiting list and a spot becomes available, the 1st person on the waiting list will automatically be given the spot. We recommend that you regularly check your schedule to see if you have been given a place in the class. If you do not show up, you will be charged 50dkk.

    • Members can store their personal mats at the studio with a one time fee of 189kr.

    • The mat storage is valid for as long as the member practices at Dóttir HotYoga.

    • The studio is not responsible for the mats in event of loss or damage.

  • We are a social media friendly studio and we may take photos and videos at the studio for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed please inform us and we will respect your privacy.

    • Dóttir Hot Yoga does not offer refunds for: change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason, including the inability to utilise all classes before membership expiration. All purchases are final.

    • Memberships are valid across both our Nordhavn and Sydhavn studios.

    • Memberships exclude attendance at guest teachers’ classes and workshops.

    • All unlimited members will receive one charge waived per calendar month. This does not apply to student membership, 4 classes a month membership or Events & Workshops.

    • Memberships cannot be shared. Anyone found to be sharing their membership will be denied entry and have their membership cancelled.

    • You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available to cover the monthly auto-debit. Should a payment be declined for any reason, The customer is at all times responsible for ensuring that card data is correct. If this is not complied, Dóttir reserves the right to deactivate the membership without notice.

    • The membership is not canceled and the recurring payment still counts, but no bookings are possible until the card data are up to date. If you fail to pay your membership payment later than 10 days you can be charged an administration fee of 100 dkk.

    • If the agreement is breached by you for non-payment, Dóttir Hot Yoga reserves the right to pass on your information to third parties.

    • Dóttir Hot Yoga is not responsible if members cannot use Dóttir Yoga’s services or facilities because of an event caused by a natural force such as COVID-19 restrictions, extreme weather, or something similar beyond our reasonable control. If this continues for more than 30 days, then either you or we may cancel your membership immediately by written notice.

    • Memberships bought from July 2023 are a rolling contract and they are active from the day you purchase and will continue monthly until you request cancellation in writing at info@dottirhotyoga.com

    • You may cancel your membership at any time. You must cancel in writing at info@dottirhotyoga.com.

    • We require at least 30 days notice prior to your next billing date.

    • Memberships are paid monthly in advance for the following month of practice.

    • Memberships purchased before July 2023 have 3 months minimum binding period. These memberships are paid monthly in advance for the following month of practise. After the 3 minimum payments memberships may be cancelled by you in writing at info@dottirhotyoga.com We require at least 60 days notice before your next billing date.

    • For membership pauses, we require at least 14 days notice before your next billing date, and the suspension is possible for a minimum of 2 weeks and possible in 1-week blocks thereafter.

    • You may pause your membership for up to 12 weeks at a time and for a maximum of 12 weeks per calendar year.

    • Administration fee for pausing a membership is 89dkk

    • Requests to pause memberships must be made in writing at info@dottirhotyoga.com Requests will not be accepted by any other means.

    • All account debts must be settled before the cancellation of membership can be finalised; this includes all late cancellation and no-show fees incurred.

    • You may not carry over the period of your card nor get a refund for any clips not used on the card after the expiration period.

    • Pre paid clip cards can not be placed on pause. 

    • The Clip Cards are personal and can not be shared with others.

  • Our trial periods can only be purchased one time per customer.

    • Payment needs to be made upon booking.

    • Please arrive at least 15 mins before the scheduled start time of the workshop. Late entry to workshops will not be permitted or refunded. Dóttir Yoga does not offer refunds on workshops for change of mind, injury, illness or any other reason. All purchases are final.If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place into another person’s name. It is essential to inform Dóttir Yoga at least 24 hours before the start of workshop.

    • Dóttir HotYoga may refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind, for events, courses or workshops that are changed or cancelled by us for any reason.
